Greetings, I am a professional interior designer and a Feng Shui practitioner. You can successfully use this space for both bedroom and office. Here is the key – make sure that you find (or make yourself) an effective wall screen. This can be made from wood, bamboo, fabric, drywall, etc. It doesn’t matter as long as it effectively blocks your sleeping view from your work space. It is not auspicious in terms of Feng Shui to see your work area from a place that is for rest. I don’t know what your room layout is like or how it fits into the “bagua” but I have placed the work area in the far corner of the room so that when you enter the room you see the bed first. So when you go to sleep at night you do see (if possible) you work area. You can use plants and or statues to create an attractive visual effect between these two spaces. Also, try to make sure that you can see the door from your bed and do not see any mirrors from your bed. Good luck!
