I have 3 new roommates moving into my apt. I have been living in for 2 years. It is my little "get away." I want to make it their home too. I will respect their privacy and offer them the courtesy they deserve. Living in a college area, I find it difficult being an introvert, because I am faced with so many new and akward experiences. I am an introvert most times myself. Being around others often "confuses" my sense of Peace. It's as if I take on some of their chaos. Alone again, I can empty myself of this undefined and often unwelcome energy. Yet, there are also times when I enjoy sharing myself with others and receiving their input. I truly enjoy facilitating workshops. It is as if I am gathering my essence when I am alone and creating more essence to gather when I am with others. Right now, for me, it seems to be an either/or situation where I am doing one thing or the other. My hope is that there is a centerpoint where I will discover a sense of balance which includes the two and I can reside there -- like the fulcrum point in a seesaw. Very true!
