It is sometimes a trying and exhausting effort to implement feng shui in the apartment due to the layouts and the way the apartment itself is positioned. It is quite simple to break it down and divide your apartment up into spaces that are private as well as public. Public shares the spaces with others in the apartment that live there also or you entertain in these areas of your home and it is an imperative puzzle piece when putting feng shui in the apartment. While it is sometimes hard to understand, the best feng shui position in the bedroom is called the command position. This command position dictates the best feng shui position and it doesn’t only include the bedroom, it encompasses business such as your office or building where you work. Combining Feng Shui and Home Staging helps my clients sell their homes fast. Statistics show that staged homes sell 50% faster and for 6.9% more than homes that have not been staged. Feng Shui, which is the art of balancing the seen and unseen elements or forces, assists in this process. There are 71,000 homes for sale in the metro Atlanta area. (more…)

Question: I know there are four basic methods of Feng Shui, which one do you follow and why?
Answer:You are correct, there are four basic methods of Feng Shui. They are the Form School, the Compass, the Eight Directions and the Black Hat Method. I will not go into specifics of the other forms here, but the one I follow is the Black Hat method.
The Black Hat method is a contemporary Western style of Feng Shui. It addresses the need for a method that can be used where compass-oriented rules of placement are difficult or impossible to follow. It can also be used in combination with the other methods to provide a deeper understanding of the energetic qualities and influences of your space.
In this contemporary approach to Feng Shui, the association of specific areas of the home with specific aspects of your life is based on position relative to the front door, also referred to as the “mouth of chí.”
Furniture is arranged to create a safe and comfortable environment, and colors, artwork, and other imagery are chosen to reinforce desired changes. One of the most appealing aspects of this style of Feng Shui is the emphasis it places on the power of your intention to influence the energy of your home. This makes the practice of Feng Shui much more personal and unique to each individual, and creates the opportunity to use Feng Shui as a tool for increased self-awareness and personal growth.
Black Hat Feng Shui teaches the principles of contemporary western Feng Shui in a way that is easy to learn and apply. And the best part of this type of Feng Shui is that anyone can use it for increased prosperity, success and happiness–starting right now, without special equipment or years of training.
Over the coming weeks I will be brining you some exciting opportunities to learn more about the Black Hat method of Feng Shui, so be sure and stay tuned to your email…. :)
Sincerely,
Raymond Woo

What are the important tactics for the “2007 Feng Shui Year of the boar?”
I’ve been asked this question too many a time even before the beginning of the lunar Chinese new year, which is the eighteenth of February this year. I’m not surprised though because the Chinese tradition dictates that each household would do some clean-up rituals before the end of each year.
