Fashion and Feng Shui

A Chinese art of Feng Shui counts 6000 years - as a tradition, it includes knowledge of architecture, aesthetics, astrology, geodesy and bio-energy. In metaphrase, Feng Shui means: water – wind. These are 2 main elements, including basic living processes of Earth. Feng Shui is very extensive, it brings information almost about everything: beginning from the moment of building a house and finishing with reading the smallest features of destiny.  Feng Shui knowledge is based on the irrational, apparently, because it seems to be illogical, mysterious, but surprisingly exact. An eastern sage Osho said once: “Logic – is a small island in an ocean of irrational. Feng Shui knows laws of irrational.” (more…)

Feng Shui in the Modern World – Does It Work?

When you think about Feng Shui dating back over 3000 years you have to wonder if it still works or can something that old be effective in today technically advanced society. Maybe it’s just a little too old fashion and needs to go the way of the spinning wheel or the windmill. After all, everything outlives its usefulness and is replaced by something better, right? Perhaps the key to this question is keeping in mind that Feng Shui is not a piece of technology but a science and a philosophy. Feng Shui does not grow obsolete like a machine but remains constant like gravity or the rotation of the planets around the sun. Feng Shui survives the test of time because it is a basic truth not an evolving technology. The things that men invent become obsolete; the basic principals of the universe remain intact and constant. That is the essence of the longevity of Feng Shui. It’s based on unchanging universal principals. (more…)

Interpreting the Bagua - A Beginner’s Guide to Feng Shui

People new to Feng Shui, especially those interested in becoming a practitioner, are sometimes surprised and confused by the bagua concept. They expect something a little more complex and involved. But, as it turns out, the magic is in the simplicity. You can understand the bagua better if you look at it through the eyes of a child rather than a learned scholar. A Feng Shui Cell Phone?

Okay, this post is a bit out of left field but I was truely shocked to see such a thing, and I just had to pass it along.

I am a complete Gadget freak, so today while surfing around one of my favorite gadget related blogs, I found this interesting post about a new Motorola cell phone.  Evidently this phone will have the ability to calculate the chi energy for many objects by using a camera and additional sensors.  Now this phone is not made yet, but a patent has been filed for the technology.  I can see it now - Feng Shui consultants everywhere will start showing up with their cell phones to all their consultations!

I just wonder if it will have any cool Feng Shui games.  My latest passion is my Sony PSP - and NO there are not any feng shui games for it.  I just received this PSP for FREE from this site - FREE PSP just click the link to check it out and sign up.  All you have to do is sign up and complete one offer.  I just did the Blockbuster Online because I rent so many movies - but there are tones of offers.  Then get a few friends to do the same - and the PSP will be yours for free!

Okay, sorry this seems a bit off topic, I just felt like rambling a bit tonight!
