Question by Flow: I’m a Teen, how would I “Feng Shui” my small, cluttered bedroom?
I’ve read a few online articles and the one question that is similar to this one off of this same site…but I was wondering if any of you could help me because I’m quite slow when it comes to things like this. My color scheme is black and blue, but a number of things in here (like five shelves) are white. I don’t have a lot of room to work with, but I do have about eight days I can work on it. I know the directionality of my room, but the picture charts I found on Google don’t help me at all.
I would appreciate some help and a few answers of how I can make my room more livable because I’m in here constantly, and I’m almost always stressed out. I would also like to try to get better grades in school, too. So I thought this might help.

The main thing about feng shui is to get rid of all the clutter. And I mean all that junk on top of the dresser, any tables, headboard, under a table, visible on an open shelf. You will have to find containers to put all your stuff in out of sight. If there is nowhere to hide stuff (under the bed hidden by a blanket to the floor, or in a closed closet or cabinet) then you should get a bunch of plain containers that all look alike and stack them in a simple stack.
You have black and white. That’s perfect for feng shui, but you should only use the blue on one or two things. Too much black and blue will be too dark and it will look closed off and confined.
When you clear off your space, you can return one, three or five items (always an odd number) in a simple arrangement. Like one bamboo plant, one large interesting-shape rock, and a small painted laquer box. One or two similar books with something on top (a buddah?).

Feng Shui is a 2004 horror movie from the Philippines starring Kris Aquino about an old bagua mirror that showers luck and prosperity to its owner (Aquino) and brings death to those near her.
